Premiere it was!
The new Advanced Course on Cellular Agriculture: precision fermentation and cultured meat took off, from 12-14 November 2025. The course was set-up in cooperation with Cellulaire Agricultuur Nederland. 23 participants joined the first edition. And the course met or exceeded their expectations.
The course board leaders are Professor Marcel Ottens TU Delft, Professor Rene Wijffels (Wageningen University & Research University) and Professor Lorenzo Moroni (UM).
Invited speakers: Julia Keppler, Annabelle Cassiman, Jean-Marc Daran, Joshua Flack, Matthew Baker, Wouter van Winden, Cees Haringa, Dirk Martens, Marieke Klijn, John A. Posada, Francesco Montanari, Marleen Onwezen, Amy Cochrane and Rob Meima.
