8 – 17 June the 33th Advanced Course on Microbial Physiology and Fermentation Technology took place in Delft, the Netherlands. 34 participants from all over the world participated in this intensive course.
Microbial Physiology and Fermentation Technology
Knowledge is power. Knowledge shared is power multiplied.
Faculty staff of the TU Delft and invited (inter)national experts from other universities and industry offered lectures, exercises and demonstrated experiments. The course provided the necessary link between fundamental subjects, such as stoichiometry/kinetics of metabolic networks, physiology/systems biology and applications for design of microorganisms and optimization of large-scale biotechnological processes.
Besides learning, BioTech Delft organized social activities on campus and in the city of Delft. These social events helped the participants to build new relationships, understand different perspectives and engage other cultures.
